No More Peace!

Assistant Professor of Visual Arts Patrick Carriere discusses the Department of Theatre's fall production, "No More Peace!" which opens Friday, Oct. 17.

"No More Peace!" is a musical satire written by Ernst Toller between the first and second World Wars. It is a biting, comical look at how hollow humanity's efforts to create lasting peace are in light of our propensity for making war.

Carriere discusses the process for selecting the play, and the timeless - and timely - themes it presents to the audience regarding war and how a nation chooses its leaders in a time of war.
