BSU Tuition and Fees

Funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment  Act of 2009 have been used to limit undergrad tuition increases this year.

  • Undergraduate on-campus tuition is banded (The same rate) 12-18 credits.
  • Center for Extended Learning credits and Graduate credits are NOT banded or included in the tuition band.
  • Senior Citizen classes are $18.00/credit.(Age 62 and over)
  • In addition each Student pays $1.00 per semester for a transcript fee.
  • In addition each on campus or online student pays a $5.00 Green Fee.

Spring 2010 Tuition and Fee Due Dates

Important dates for Spring 2010

Tuition and fees should be paid in full by January 12, 2010 or your classes will be dropped for nonpayment. However, you will not be dropped for non-payment if any one of the following criteria is met:

  1. You have applied for Federal Financial Aid and the university has received the FAFSA results from the U.S. Department of Education.
  2. You have made a minimum down payment to tuition and fees of 15% or $300, which ever is less.
  3. You have a scholarship or third party award that meets the minimum down payment amount. 
  4. You have an active payment plan contract with FACTS Management.
  5. You are enrolled in the PSEO program.

 Reciprocity and Tuition Waivers 

Tuition rates are for MN students, ND and SD students who have applied for Reciprocity and any student that lives in a state or country that does not have a reciprocal agreement with Minnesota. Students from ND, SD and WI and who have not applied for Reciprocity will be charged at a non-resident rate which is approximately twice the resident rate!!
