Data Center Power

A very-large-scale project to upgrade data center power distribution, consolidate UPS (uninterruptable power supply) installations, and modify building power distribution in order to provide generator power to the data center is now in the design stage. While this work will largely happen behind the scenes, it is important to the campus community because it enhances fault tolerance and disaster prevention for key servers, storage area networks, and other devices in the data center. Updates will be posted to the blog as we proceed.
