A Time for Optimism
Like many of you, I listened to President Obama's economic speech to the nation this week. His declaration that we can -- and we will -- find our way beyond these turbulent times and emerge as a more united, stronger nation was uplifting.

The Department of Nursing will officially induct its first group of 36 students into its new four-year baccalaureate program during a Saturday, Feb. 28, induction and scholarship ceremony.
