Above: Nearly 1,200 people packed Memorial Hall on April 3 to rally for the new era of Bemidji State hockey. The city of Bemidji broke ground on the Regional Events Center earlier in the day, and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association was making a site visit to the University as Bemidji State pursues membershp in that conference.

Legendary Accomplishments
These past few weeks at Bemidji State have been a whirlwind. We watched with pride and anticipation as the Beavers skated onto the national scene with their Frozen Four bid.

The 12th ranked Bemidji State University men’s ice hockey team’s improbable run to the 2009 Frozen Four ended with a 4-1 loss in the national semifinal to No. 4 Miami (Ohio) University Thursday evening.

The 40th Festival of Nations, an annual celebration of the cultural diversity of the campus community, will be held Saturday, April 18. The festival will run from 3-7 p.m. in the Beaux Arts Ballroom.

Indian Resource Center will host or be involved with a series of activities to celebrate Indian Week. Indian Week kicks off Monday, April 20 and runs through Saturday, April 25.
