BSU marketing
efforts focus on creating and disseminating a unified message and image
that supports the University's mission, vision and signature themes.
The
communications and marketing office produces promotional materials and
merchandise, TV and radio spots, and print advertising to meet the
University's marketing needs. In addition, the office develops,
oversees and updates the University's graphic standards and identity
policies and manages BSU's licensing and royalties program. The office
assists with graphic standards regarding campus signage and bannering.
Marketing responsibilities include Bemidji State's web content and
design.
In 2006, the President charged the Integrated Marketing
Team (IMT) with creating BSU's marketing strategy and tactics in
conjunction with the Office of Communications and Marketing. IMT has
tapped expertise from within the group, the University, and an outside
consulting firm to advance its initiatives.
The IMT membership includes directors or executive directors of
Advance Bemidji State University by communicating a unified message
