Bemidji State University offers a combination of university-owned Hewlett Packard printers and leased Toshiba multi-function devices on campus.
The HP printers are print-only devices. The Toshiba devices are capable of printing, copying, and scanning documents. You will use these devices to “scan-to-email”.
For large or specialty print jobs, please consider using BSU Printing Services.
All networked devices are covered by our maintenance contract that provides toner, repairs, and routine maintenance. Units covered by this contract can be identified by the presence of a numbered Toshiba sticker on the device (we call this the “T#”).
For basic “how-to’s” and other common questions, our Knowledge Base contains articles ranging from, “How to Add a Printer to Your Computer” to “How to Print Labels.” This should be your first stop for basic assistance.
For more serious service requests, please submit a help desk ticket. Please be sure to include the following:
- Building and room number where device is locate
- Model of the printer (Ex: Toshiba eStudio206, HPCLJ5550, HPLJ2420N)
- T# of the printer (found on the Toshiba sticker)
- A description of the problem you are encountering
ITS will evaluate the problem. If they can not resolve the issue, they will direct you to initiate a support call with Toshiba Business Solutions.
