MISCELLANEOUS CELL PHONE BILLING INFORMATION

The Info2Go/Brew Applications or any other on-line applications available, are considered "Data" time and are NOT covered in the state contract cellular service minutes. If you use any on-line application, you will be charged extra for the "Data" time and it adds up quickly.
(Exception: PDA/Treo users have different plans available that include "Data" time.)

Directory Assistance is NOT free. Calls to Directory Assistance from your cell phone are $1.25. If you have the Directory Assistance Operator connect your call, you will also be charged more per minute.

Voice Mail retrieval when you are outside of our UNICEL Network (called "Off Network") is NOT free, not even with the National calling plan. If you need a map of the UNICEL Network, please contact Marie Ronning.

Mobile to mobile calls are only free between UNICEL customers within our UNICEL Network.

The 444-1111 number that shows up frequently on your statement call detail indicates that the number you called was a "ported" number, originally with one service provider but now moved to service through Paul Bunyan Telephone. When BSU switched service providers from Qwest to Paul Bunyan Telephone, all BSU numbers were ported. Thus, calls to BSU numbers will show up as 444-1111. Neither UNICEL nor Paul Bunyan Telephone can tell us if/when changes will be made to allow the actual number to show up instead of a number for the changed service provider.
