Nomination and Application Process

Now Accepting Applications for the 2015-2016 President's Student Commission!

President Hanson is looking for full-time students to serve on the President's Student Commission.

Student Commissioners are charged with advised the President on how to build a better university be developing solutions for a problem the university faces.

Commissioners will receive up to a $1,000 scholarship for participating!

Nominations for the President's Student Commission are solicited in the spring semester of each academic year.  Faculty and staff may nominate students by contacting the President's Office.  In addition, students can nominate themselves by submitting an application to the President's Office.

Any students interested in participating in the President's Student Commission are required to complete the application, which is only available during the nomination period. 

Applicants will participate in an interview with Dr. James Parker, Vice President for Student Development and Enrollment. 

President Hanson will make the final selection for the President's Student Commission.  Each member of the Commission will receive up to a $1,000 scholarship offered by the BSU Foundation.
