Public Safety Policies


The purpose of all BSU & NTC public safety policy's is to define the role of the Department of Public Safety as it relates to University and College security matters and to establish a policy that will institute a protocol and procedure to address public safety related initiatives on campus.


Bemidji State University & Northwest Technical College recognizes the Department of Public Safety as the representative regarding security functions, including; University & College security policies; security consultation; security personnel; facilities security; event security; and the placement or installation of security related technology on campus or any property owned or operated by Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College.
