Recommendations for the allocation of student fee monies are made by the Student Activities and Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC) to the Vice President for Finance and Administration. Activities generally funded include men's and women's intercollegiate athletics, campus recreation, music, theater and Hobson Union Programming Board.

| ATHLETIC FEE The athletic fee is used to support the university's Division II athletic programs, which includes student admission to regular Division II athletic contests. |

| MSUSA FEE The MSUSA fee is for membership in the Minnesota State University Student Association. Each campus student association shall be affiliated with its statewide student association and all students enrolled on those campuses shall be members of their respective statewide association. |

| TECHNOLOGY FEE The technology fee is used for the acquisition, upgrading and maintenance of technology that supports academic and student activities, to include lab computers, software licensing, printers, network infrastructure, and technology support.
