April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

IT TAKES JUST ONE PERSON TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD'S LIFE
Be the ONE!

Today at the grocery store: help a stressed out family.
If you see a parent obviously upset, do what you can to help divert the child's attention
or start a conversation with the adult that lets them know you understand just how difficult their job is.

Today: at home
Be a nurturing Parent: children need to know that they are special, loved and capable of following their dreams.

Tonight: at home or with your grandchildren
Monitor what a child is watching on television. Watching violent films and TV programs desensitizes some children
and makes it more likely that they will act in a similar manner.

REMEMBER HOW IT FELT TO BE A CHILD?
PASS ALONG THIS MESSAGE AND LET OTHERS KNOW HOW THEY CAN
BE THE ONE!
