Building Assistant
Under supervision from a General Maintenance Worker or the Assistant Director, HMU, a student will perform general cleaning services on a routine basis that will include all or part of the following duties:
- Dust and wet-mop floors.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Dump waste and replace waste can liners.
- Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings.
- Empty recycling bins.
- Assist in room set ups which can include moving tables and chairs, staging, podiums
- Assist with inventory of departmental furniture, supplies, etc.
