South Korea - Sunlin College
Purpose
To promote international friendship and world peace, stimulate, support intercultural activities and projects among students from the USA and South Korea, and to establish goodwill between the two institutions especially in the area of student exchange.
Terms:
The academic years covered by the agreement is 2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, & 2009/2010, 2010/1011.
Student Exchange:
Specific admission requirements are available from the BSU International Program Center director.
In general,
- Students must meet the admission requirements for international students of the host institution, and the final admission decision will be determined by the host institution.
- Equivalencies between courses and programs will be agreed upon in advance for each student for the purpose of awarding academic credit.
- SC students studying at BSU will pay BSU in-state tuition and fees. BSU students studying at SC will pay SC in-state tuition and fees.
- Students will be responsible for their own travel arrangements and associated costs.
- Students will be responsible for the cost of food and housing.
- Students must make arrangements for health insurance during the exchange period. SC students studying at BSU will be required to purchase the health insurance plan a contracted through MnSCU. BSU students must also purchase the international ID card, available through the Int’l Program Ctr.
- Each student must demonstrate that he/she possesses sufficient financial resources to participate in the exchange.
