University of Hertfordshire School of Art and Design and Bemidji State University's Design Technology Program Spring Semester Exchange

The missions of Bemidji State University and the University of Hertfordshire encourage international educational experiences. Both institutions believe students can benefit by spending one semester gaining experience in an exchange program. The strengths of each university compliment the strengths of the other. In addition, there are cultural benefits to be gained by living and studying in another country.

The student exchange will typically occur during the January through May time frame. The duration of the exchange will be approximately one semester in length.

Students will enroll in regularly scheduled courses offered at each university. Students will select a course schedule following consultation with an assigned advisor. Course work grades will be provided to the registrars at each location at the request of the program coordinators. Staff at each university will assist participants to find the appropriate accommodations for room and board. Participants will be responsible for all costs associated with room and board.

Participation in the exchanged program is limited . The size of the program will be determined on a yearly basis. The respective departments in accordance with the criteria noted below will select students wishing to participate in the program:
