Travel with the BSU Sinosummer Program for a
unique opportunity to study abroad.

This is your chance to study at Liaoning University in Shenyang, People’s Republic of China. Complementing the academic program is a two week study tour of north eastern, north central, and southern China. This is a program for the adventurous student who is culturally adaptable and flexible.
The Sinosummer program consists of orientation sessions as well as pre-trip workshops held during the spring semester at Bemidji State University, along with lectures, formal discussion groups and field trips at Liaoning University. While at Liaoning University, students will live in foreign student housing. For the duration of the tour, you will reside in modern deluxe and superior hotels. Earn twelve academic credits.

ELIGIBILITY
Sinosummer 2007 is open to students in good academic standing who have completed their freshman year. Non-BSU students may enroll as ‘special students’ to participate in the program. This program may include activities such as hikes, walking tours, and other forms of physical activities. Visited sites, modes of transportation, and housing accommodations may not be handicap accessible. Requests for reasonable accommodations will be carefully considered, but may not be available. You may wish to consult with the program faculty director.
PRICE
The program fee for Sinosummer 2007 is estimated at $4,400. Tuition and fees for a minimum of twelve academic credits are not included in the program fee. Payments for the program and tuition, as well as fees, are due in full prior to departure. The program fee covers all travel, airport fees, accommodations, tips, and most meals in China. However, some meals are on your own.
PLEASE NOTE: This itinerary and the dates of the tour of China portion of the program are subject to change. The price for Sinosummer 2007 may fluctuate due to inflation in exchange rate, the number of participants, and other factors beyond the control of Bemidji State University. The exact departure and return dates TBA.
