Arrival Notification for International Students

To plan for your arrival and enrollment at Bemidji State University, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible to confirm your attendance and arrival information. 

Orientation for new international students at Bemidji State University is scheduled for the following dates:

Fall Semester 2014 Spring Semester 2015
August 20-24, 2014* January 7, 8, and 9, 2015

Attendance at orientation is mandatory; thus you need to plan your arrival on campus to assure your attendance at orientation. Courtesy transportation from the Bemidji airport or Bemidji bus station to the BSU campus is available for students with on-campus housing. BSU Shuttle transportation is NOT available for those who plan to reside off campus.Those students will need to make arrangements for public transportation from the airport to their off-campus housing location. Please submit your application and contract for on-campus housing well in advance of your arrival.

Please e-mail the IPC office with information on your arrival date, time, and flight number well in advance (three to four weeks in advance if possible) and indicate if you wish to have transportation from the Bemidji Airport or Bus Terminal to the BSU campus. If a friend is picking you up, please provide his/her name on the form, along with an address and/or phone number.

If your arrival is delayed or changed, you may call the International Program Center at (218) 755-4096 from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or e-mail us.
