You are encouraged to live on campus in one of our residence halls during your stay at BSU. On campus housing is available throughout the academic year and all breaks. On campus housing is provided by BSU's Department of Residential Life who are committed to creating a caring environment that encourages academic success, individual respect, personal growth, and a sense of responsibility toward our community and a global society. Many residence hall services are provided as a part of the residence hall living experience and are included in the living cost of each resident. Open Borders Learning Community (OBLC) located in Tamarack Residence Hall is a residential learning program where students from around the world, who share an interest in getting to know people from other cultures, live together on one floor. Students are matched with roommates from different cultures. OBLC offers a dynamic living environment with an array of social and educational opportunities ranging from cultural exchange dinners to international movie nights to community involvement programs. Applications for on campus housing and meal plans for new students are sent with the amission letter and I-20 Certification of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status or DS2019 Certification of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (J-1) Exchange Student/Visitor Status. You may also access the application form on-line.
A prepayment of $150 is due with submission of the housing application.
