| "Bonner's The Laid Daughter : A True Story, is compelling, horrifying, and, in the the end, illuminating. Bonner takes us on a grim trip through her childhood incest experiences as they are revealed to her through psychotherapy and the clues in her own journals. We come out having seen hell and fearing it less because we've survived." (The Pioneer, Bemidji, MN. 9/13/95 by Louise Mengelkoch) | |
