| Not just beach toys, sea kayaks are capable, seaworthy craft. This three hour session will introduce you to excitement of kayaking out on open water, and teach you what to do if it gets rough. We focus on equipment, safety, and basic paddling and capsize recovery skills. Expect to tip over and swim, then scramble back into the kayak. This course is required for those who want to take rentals off Lake Bemidji. Meet at the BSU waterfront. Call 755-3900 to sign up or for more information. | ||||
