Intramurals
General Rules
1. All participants are required to bring their Bemidji State University ID card to ALL GAMES. Players who cannot provide the necessary identification will not be permitted to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
2. A team shall forfeit any game in which it uses an ineligible player or a player participating under an assumed name. Individuals violating eligibility rules will be suspended from intramural participation for one calendar year and pending an interview with the Intramural Director.
3. Individuals ejected from a game for any reason will be suspended from all intramurals until after an interview with the Intramural Director has taken place and the official penalty is served. Any games missed prior to interview with the Intramural Director may not count as serving a suspension.
4. Individuals ejected from intramural play must leave the intramural complex/ gymnasium before play is resumed. In the event the participant refuses to leave the complex his/her team will forfeit that game.
5. Players or spectators who make physical contact or threatening behavior towards an official or staff member or leave the bench/viewing area to participate in any altercation will be ejected from the game/match and will be dealt with harshly including team suspension.
6. There is a $40.00 entry for teams participating in a sport. The money is for the upkeep and the purchase of new equipment. If a team forfeits they will be allowed one re-entry back into the league. The team must come in and pay $15 by noon on the day of their next game to be reinstated back into the league and be re-eligible for the playoffs.
7. Alcohol is prohibited at all intramural activities. If you are suspected of having consumed alcohol prior to intramural activities, you will be asked to leave. At any indoor sports, sunflower seeds are not allowed.
8. All spectators are to stay off the field/courts at All Times!
