Adam Dandar

My name is Adam Dandar, and I will be working with the students and staff of Tamarack Hall, Pine Hall, and Cedar Apartments as a Residence Hall Director.  My duties include overseeing the daily operations of the residence halls, supervising staff in the buildings, advising the hall council groups, and meeting with students about concerns.  I work hard on issues facing students and trying to empathize with them. 

I am originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan (8 miles north of Detroit), and I graduated with my Master's in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University. While there, I participated in the Ultimate Frisbee club and I was active in other inter-murals.  

The things I look most forward to in my job are being around the front desk or lobby and speaking with students.  I love to find a student having a rough day and being able to help them reach a happier place. My hobbies include: movies, video games (Xbox 360), television (Heroes and Burn Notice), frisbee, and soccer. I am also trying to teach myself how to beat box!
