Residential Life Staff

Dr. Randy Ludeman

I am Randy Ludeman, and I am the University Conduct Officer and the Associate Director of Residential Life.  My duties include working with students accused of misconduct, supervising the residence hall staff and program, and assisting students with learning and development.  Students should feel free to contact me to discuss the Student Conduct System or residence hall concerns or issues.  I also enjoy talking about the outdoors and know a few good fishing spots in the area!

My education includes:

BA in Psychology - Bemidji State University
MS in Counseling and Student Personnel - Mankato State University
PhD in Educational Leadership - Iowa State University

Working with college students is a very rewarding experience.  The college environment is stimulating and the relationships formed with students, faculty and staff motivate me.  My professional interests include student conduct and mental health, and gender and inclusiveness issues.  I have taught several courses at BSU including counseling skills, first year experience, men's issues, and college student development theory.  I have chosen Bemidji as my home for many reasons.  I enjoy the campus, community, and people, and mostly the rich outdoor opportunities the area offers.  I am an avid angler and hunter, and could not ask for a better place to accommodate these passions.  I also feel Bemidji is an excellent place to raise my son Blaine.
