Residential Life

Tamarack Hall

More than just a good view.

You've heard it before it's the tallest building in Beltrami County. So? Well there's a lot to be said for height. Tamarack's 12 floors gives it an urban feel, with the best views in town overlooking both the lake and the surrounding area. The 12th floor features no fewer than three study and social lounges, from which you can see for miles. The second and third floors offer two person suites, doubling your available space. Tamarack attracts a diverse population of residents. It's close to the Rec Center so it's the res hall of choice for student athletes, and also houses a mix of first year, returning and international students.

Bucky's Scoop.

Bucky says . . .

Here's a little known tidbit about one reason people choose Tamarack . . . the breeze. It's in just the right spot to catch the breeze off Lake Bemidji. I sometimes go up to twelfth after cheering a game just to cool off my tail and of course, shoot the breeze.
