Residence Hall Association (RHA):
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) serves as a liaison for all the residents residing on campus and concerns that they may have and the Department of Residential Life and Bemidji State University administration. Examples of issues that we have brought to attention are hall cleanliness and residence hall security. RHA assists the hall councils in planning activities for the residents. RHA also does hall wide programming itself, with the highlight being the annual Brother/Sister weekend, where residents are encouraged to bring their siblings to campus to get a little taste of what living on campus is like. RHA is associated with the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH) and the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (MACURH). Both organizations provide leadership conferences and opportunities and act as clearinghouses for information that help develop leaders on campus and help to make residence hall living an attractive option.

Floor Advisory Boards (FAB):
FAB is an acronym for Floor Advisory Board. Each FAB is comprised of the RA, the Hall Council Floor Representative, and 3-5 interested floor members. Some FAB's may have designated executives. Being a FAB member is an opportunity to learn about leadership, meet some great people, and have a lot of fun. FAB's are responsible for evaluating the floor's social and academic environment, planning activities and programs to promote the floor community, and assisting in solving floor concerns or problems.
