Bemidji State University Student Association Constitution March, 2008

Section 1: The President and Vice President shall begin their terms of office on the day of graduation following their election and end their terms on the day of graduation of the subsequent year.

Section 2: All senators elected in the Fall General election shall begin their terms of office upon approval of the election results and end their terms on the day of graduation of that academic year.

Section 3: All senators elected in the Spring General election shall begin their terms of office upon approval of election results and on the day of graduation of that academic year. Their terms end on the day of graduation the subsequent year.

Section 4: The terms of office of Presidential appointees shall expire with the term of the President who appointed them.

Section 5: Any member may voluntarily end their term by tendering a letter of resignation to the Student Senate President.
