BSU recognizes that parents play a significant role in academic success. The Advising Success Center urges you to support your student's efforts for academic success, encourage your students to get involved in student organizations, and to celebrate their achievements.  If they are having difficulties, suggest that they seek help.

Please feel free to contact us if:

• Your student is new to BSU and you have general questions about procedures, resources and academic programs.*
  
• You would like more information about the parent program that is part of new and transfer student orientation.
• Your student needs help focusing on their abilities and interests.

*Please note that the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act prohibits us from discussing specific information about your student without the student's  permission.
