Campus Childcare

Located on the campus of Bemidji State University, Campus Childcare is a complete child care center serving children from six weeks to five years of age. Children are cared for by kind, experienced and highly qualified teachers. Our program supports and encourages the healthy development of each individual child.

Curriculum Highlights

Sign Language used daily in Infant, Toddler and Preschool programs
Emphasis on open-ended creative art
Teachers sing during trasitions and routines throughout the day in all programs
Music, Physical Education, and Spanish programs for preschoolers will be offered within the regular Preschool programming for no extra charge
Parenting Classes for Single Parents will be offered on Thursday evenings at CCC

Cost for Child Care

Fees at Campus Childcare are comparable to other providers in the area. You will find our care to be worth the cost. Our rates are based on half and full days. Full day enrollment receives first priority. We will help you find child care financial assistance if you are eligible. Rates for the 2008-2009 school year are:

Full day: Monday - Friday (over 5 hours/day)
Student rate:
Infant, Toddler and Preschool Programs: $26/day.
Drop off times: 7:30-9:30 A.M.
Pick up times: 1:30-5:00 P.M.
Non-student rate:
Preschool, Toddler and Infant programs $27/day

Part-time: Monday - Friday (5 hours or less/day)

Schedules:	7:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.
	8:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
	8:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.
	1:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Student rate:
Preschool, Toddler, and Infant Programs $17/day
Non-student rate:
Preschool, Toddler, and Infant Programs $18/day

Enrollment

Pre-registration as soon as you know your schedule is the best way to ensure a space for your child. Please fill out and return the Child Application Form*. You will be called in July to set up an interview with the director if there are open slots (Infant and Toddler Programs generally have waiting lists). For more information on enrollment at the Campus Childcare Center, or to make arrangements to visit, please call the office on or after July 1st (office is closed for the month of June).

Work Study eligible students get first preference for employment.
