About Career Services
The professional staff in BSU's Career Services provide a comprehensive list of services designed to help our students and alumni achieve their career goals.
We provide:
- Career development guidance and job search services to students and alumni
- Services for employers who are interested in recruiting BSU students for employment or internships
- Information and guidance for parents seeking to assist their student through college
- Information for faculty and staff to aid them in helping students
Our Mission
Career development is a lifelong developmental process and must be fostered during the entire period of a student's involvement with Bemidji State University. Career planning does not end at graduation but will continue throughout one's lifetime.
The primary mission of Career Services is to aid students and alumni in assessing, exploring, focusing and implementing their career goals and strengths. Upon completion of a degree, graduates will be empowered with the tools and expertise necessary to successfully enter a professional field of employment or continue their career preparation at a professional or graduate institution.
