Graduate School Information Presentations at the Research Methods Conference Are you trying to decide if grad school is right for you? The NDSU Graduate School is sponsoring a series of presentations about attending graduate school in conjunction with the Research Methods Conference on Friday, March 1. If you are considering graduate school, we invite you to attend! At the conference you will also be able to see graduate student research projects that are currently underway at NDSU. 9:45-10:45 – How to write a statement of purpose Most graduate and professional schools require prospective students to write a statement of purpose or personal statement. Come to this workshop to learn more and gather information to write your own. 11-12:15 – Is graduate school right for me? Even if you’re not considering NDSU for graduate school, you are invite to this presentation to learn more about why people earn advanced degrees and what it might mean for you and your future. 12:30-1:30 – lunch break (*on your own, Memorial Union lower level) 1:30-2:30 – Graduate Student Panel – Question and answer session for prospective students Do you have questions about graduate school? Current NDSU students will offer advice and tips for prospective students. Come with questions! |
