The Student and Employer Connection...

BSUCareers is Bemidji State University's online job listing and resume referral system. BSU students and alumni, you have exclusive access to post your resume for employers to review, and to search the job and internship opportunities listed by employers.  Employers, you can post job and internship opportunities and search BSU student and alumni resumes.

3 Steps to Employment

FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORE'S

1.  Application-Freshmen and Sophomores please click on the link below to fill-out the student application that you can use to apply for off-campus jobs including part-time, full-time and summer. Remember to save a copy to your computer or flash drive.

STUDENT APPLICATION

2. Complete your BSUCareers Profile- Please login to your account and update your information and upload your  application so you can search for jobs.  

  • Click the BSUCareers logo at the right or go through MyBSU(Once logged on, click on BSUCareers)
  • Enter Student ID Number
  • Enter Password (note:  1st time users-please click FORGOT PASSWORD and one will be emailed to you.)
  • Update info
  • Upload application

3.  Job Search-Once you have completed your profile and uploaded your application you are ready to find a job! 

  • To search for jobs click on Jobs & Internships, then Job Search
  • Next select they keywords and/or position type you are interested in
  • Click Email me New Jobs for this Search

**Please note:  Employers may have their own application for employment so read the application process section of each job posting carefully.  DON'T ASSUME your application will be accepted for the position you are applying for.

JUNIORS & SENIOR'S

1. Resume- Juniors and Seniors come to our office and have your resume critiqued.  We offer Resumes On The Run A free drop-in service-please see calendar for days and times it is offered.  Stop by Sanford Hall 102 to check it out! *Please bring a hard copy and a copy on a flash drive.

2. Update your BSUCareers Profile- Please login to your account and update your information and upload your resume so you can search for jobs.  

  • Click the BSUCareers logo at the right or go through MyBSU(Once logged on click on BSUCareers)
  • Enter Student ID Number
  • Enter Password (note:  1st time users-please click FORGOT PASSWORD and one will be emailed to you.)
  • Update info
  • Upload approved resume 

3.  Job Search-Once you have completed your profile and uploaded your resume you are ready to find a job! 

  • To search for jobs click on Jobs & Internships, then Job Search
  • Next select they keywords and/or position type you are interested in
  • Click Email me New Jobs for this Search
