Bemidji State University offers a variety of accommodations to assist students with disabilities in their academic course work.  All new students are officially notified about the Disability Services Office in their acceptance packets from the Admissions Office.  This letter gives them brief information about the accommodations available to them,  and students are encouraged to contact the Disability Services Office to provide documentation of their disability to start a file.  Students are screened and appropiate accommodations for coursework are determined on an individual student basis.  Faculty are then notified regarding the appropriate accommodations necessary in their course for the student.

  • MnSCU Policy - The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) has board policies regarding access for individuals with disabilities.  These policies include reasonable accommodations to ensure access to Programs, Services and Activities.
