Taped Textbooks and Readings

Students with a documented disability who have a need for textbooks or other assigned reading materials on tape must request the accommodation prior to the start up of the term or during the first two weeks.  It is the responsibility of the student to get copies of the syllabus and all  assigned reading prior to requesting the book on tape.  The student should work closely with the Coordinator of Disability Services to ensure that reading are done on time for course assignments.

Students using this accommodation are strongly encouraged for use books on tape through appropriate national recording organizations such as Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic in New Jersey, for example, to access this service.  For more information regarding Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic please contact the Coordinator, Disability Services Office.
