Employment Procedures
1. Finding a Job
- Read through the job listings
- Contact the department you are interested in
- Set up an interview
2. Once you have found a job
- Bring your authorization form, completed by you and your supervisor, to the Student Employment Office (D203).
- If you have work-study, you will receive your work-study authorization form with your financial aid award letter. Have your supervisor fill out the bottom portion of the form and bring it to the Student Employment Office.
- If you have regular payroll, your supervisor will have an authorization form for you or you can pick one up at the Student Employment Office.
- If you have never worked on campus before, you will need to fill out a W-4 form and an I-9 form (bring along a picture ID and either you Social Security Card or your Birth Certificate).
- Once we have all needed forms on file, a timesheet will be printed for you and sent to you supervisor.
3. Getting Paid
- Timesheets are due on the last day of each pay period, in the Payroll Office (D 203).
- Paychecks can be picked up every other Friday, at the Cashiers Office (D202).
