The Student Center for Health and Counseling is staffed with a group of higly trained licensed professionals, who are committed to work together to provide you with a highest quality care. The SCHC continually supports the professional development of our staff members by maintaining professional licensure, maintaining membership in professional organizations, and providing and integrating research in all areas of our professional services including cutting edge research in the area of problem gambling.

Barb Eriksson-Capes
Director - Student Center for Health and Counseling, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

- Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)
- Provides direction and leadership for the department and provides primary health care, health promotion and health maintenance for BSU students

Kristi Reiplinger
Licensed Practical Nurse and Office Manager

- Provides support and assistance to medical providers caring for BSU students
- Provides administrative assistance to the medical and counseling staff and supervises employees who assist with reception tasks

- Coordinates campus health education outreach program, serves as advisor for campus peer health education group, coordinates the Responsible Men Responsible Women Orientation Program, serves as compliance officer for the Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Act, and facilitates a drug prevention and education component of the PIER-9 program
