My first hour I had Advanced
Writing. All we did in their was do journals. We had to have Four journals
done every week. We talked a little bit but mostly we would just work on
our journals. We would also work on stories and other things that were
fun. The thing that I liked the most about that class was that you could
check your e-mail. Another thing that I liked about it was you could talk
and visit. Sometimes if your stories were good your paper would get put in
the newspapers. My free time was right after first hour. That kind of worked out for me because then I could go to the computer lab and chat or I could go back to the dorms and go back to sleep for an hour. Free time is when you have time to do anything you want. Every body has a different free time. My third hour was algebra. Math was kind of cool because all you mostly did was review. Most of the stuff is from 8th and 9th grade. You also got to go to a different room if you needed more (extra) help. The math teacher(s) were cool. You only got like three worksheets for the week and they're pretty easy if you paid attention in 8&9 grade. My forth hour was Reading. Reading was really cool, because you didn't really have to do anything but read some short stories. The teacher is really cool. Martin is pretty straight forward. He tells you what he expects from you and what he don't expect from you. He tells you what you can and can't do. Martin is not strict, but he don't like it when you disturb him. All he really expects from you is respect. He will tell you on the first day that if you don't want to be in there you don't have to stay. Reading is really cool with Martin. My fifth hour was Biology. Biology is cool if you like doing labs. That's basically all you do in their is labs. Sometimes you take notes and do activities. I didn't really like that class because all you do is labs. I think that it would be better if you actually sat down and did work right out of the book. But you don't even get a book. Then after Biology you have lunch. You have an hour to eat. You can eat or go to the library. But you have to sign in with the RA's. After lunch I had Spanish. I think that Spanish was the easiest class. All you did was learn something then tell her what you learned then you got to go. You even got to play games and learn how to sing the alphabet. It is really a cool experience. This is a really fun class i would recommend it to anyone. After Spanish everybody gets free time to do whatever they want. I mostly just went to the library. Everybody got at least an hour off, then you had to go to your electives. THAT'S ALL OF THE CLASSES!!
