Summer Trip

Students who pass all of their summer classes are eligible to go on a three or four night Upward Bound trip during the final week of the summer program. The destination of the trip changes each summer so students will have the opportunity to visit a variety of places during their time with Upward Bound. Recent destinations have included Chicago, Duluth, Montana, South Dakota, and St. Paul/Minneapolis.

Summer Trip 2011 Museum of the Rockies

Besides sightseeing, a mix of activities are planned on these trips and have included whitewater rafting, going to amusement parks and professional baseball games, taking lake cruises, visiting colleges and art museums, staying at a dude ranch, attending live theater performances, eating at the Hard Rock Cafe, and much more. The trips are planned to reward participants as well as give them opportunities to try new things.
