Sustainable Campus Research Award

The Bemidji State University (BSU) Environmental Advisory Committee is accepting applications for the Sustainable Campus Scholarship and Research Award. In 2005, the BSU Sustainable Campus Endowment was established to promote projects by undergraduate and graduate students to improve environmental stewardship on campus and in the community. As part of an ongoing partnership to promote energy conservation and renewable energy, Otter Tail Power Company made a major contribution to support student projects. An award up to $500 will be given to meritorious projects that foster sustainability with emphasis on energy conservation and renewable energy.

The goal of the Sustainable Scholarship and Research Award is to promote academic and personal excellence in the area of environmental sustainability on campus and in the community. This award is one of many ways students may continue their academic and professional pursuits with increased awareness of the environment and the role of citizens in helping to preserve it for generations to come.

The recipient(s) will be announced tentatively April 22nd during Earth Week.
