The Minnesota Northwoods Writers Conference provides a supportive and friendly atmosphere for writers at any stage of development who work hard at their writing and want to better understand the creative act.

Held at Bemidji State University, on the beautiful shores of Lake Bemidji, this year the weeklong conference offers small workshops in fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and symbolic imaging. There is also a multi-genre workshop designed specifically for novices. The low participant to faculty ratio fosters a genuine community.
