Degree Offered


Master Of Science - Mathematics

This degree is intended for middle level and secondary school teachers of mathematics. The focus is on providing greater subject depth and advanced instructional methodologies. Students are offered a curriculum which is appropriate to both their individual needs and their needs relating to classroom instruction.

Preparation Requirements

Applicants should have a licensed undergraduate teaching major or minor in mathematics.

Note: Required electives need to be selected so that at least 16 credits in the program are at the 6000 level.

Master of Science - Elementary and Middle Level Mathematics Education

This degree is intended for elementary and middle level teachers. The focus is on providing greater subject depth and advanced instructional methodologies. Students are offered a curriculum that is appropriate to both their individual needs and their needs relating to classroom instruction.

Applicants should have an elementary, middle level or equivalent license.
