Area I - English

Minimum of 12 Quarter Hours

Courses must be taken for a letter grade (ineligible for Pass/No Pass option).

Ideas can be developed and expressed through writing. Through the study and practice of composition, we can learn to write clearly and effectively. The ability to write well is useful in all academic fields. Students are therefore encouraged to complete the three-quarter Freshman English sequence as soon as possible.

 

• ENGL 121 College Writing I (4 credits)
• ENGL 122 College Writing II
  or ENGL 325 Writing in the Disciplines (4 credits)
• ENGL 123 College Writing III (4 credits)
