I.Prerequisite

212 passed with C or better (not required if students enter with appropriate background). A score on the OPI of at least Intermediate Low.

II. Required Core

• GER 310 Conversation an Composition (4 credits)
• GER 311 Introduction to the Study of German Culture (4 credits)
• GER 312 Introduction to the Study of German Literature (4 credits)

Subtotal: 12 credits

III. Directed Electives

To be chosen from 400 level literature and cultural sequence, 320-322 language skill courses, or German Linguistics (430).
