Physics Major, B.S.
The Physics Department continually amends its programs to
reflect developments in the field. Consult with an adviser
regarding pending majors, minors and options.
Option A. Engineering-Physics
This program is designed for students who plan to work in
industry after graduation. This program is also suitable
preparation for graduate study in some areas of engineering and
applied science. It emphasizes selected areas of applied physics,
mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering, with extensive
computer applications.
I.Transfer students must take minimum of 15 quarter hours in
physics at Bemidji State University.

as geophysics, materials science, or certain areas of engineering.
