Pre-Chiropractic

Mr. Trihey (Adviser)

Pre-chiropractic students should declare both a pre-professional major and an academic major.

Many states now require that chiropractors must have a bachelors degree in addition to the Doctor of Chiropractic prior to being licensed as a chiropractor. Students should consider completing a bachelors degree prior to entry into the chiropractic program. Currently the minimum needed for admission to the chiropractic school is 90 quarter hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better. Additional science, communication, and algebra courses are recommended for electives.
