Special Education, Secondary Field of Emphasis

Recognizing the need for secondary education teachers to become familiar with the area of special education, this secondary field of emphasis is available in addition to the student's major.

The Special Education field of emphasis does not in itself qualify the student for licensure but is the foundation for additional undergraduate and graduate course work leading to licensure. Refer to the Special Education field of emphasis in the Elementary Education program and to the BSU graduate catalog for additional information.
