Nursing Course Descriptions

Students must be formally admitted to the major. The Department of Nursing should be contacted regarding admission. Students may apply throughout the year for admission to the major. However, applications submitted between May 1 and September 1 will be reviewed during fall semester. Admission to the major is not required for junior level fall semester course enrollment but students must have confirmation of admission to the Department to enroll in spring semester junior level courses.
Lower division preparation in nursing is required prior to submitting an application for the major.Applicants must:
All individual nursing courses applied to the upper division major requirements must reflect a letter grade of C or better.
