Physics Minor, B.S. (Teacher Licensure)

This minor is designed to allow part-time secondary teaching in physics (Minnesota only). It must be upgraded to a Physical Science major within seven years if continued Minnesota licensure is to be obtained. Students who wish to teach in another state should consult a Physics advisor very early, since the requirements for that state may differ substantially from those presented here.

Alert: New State of Minnesota teacher licensure rules may go into effect Fall 1998. Before registering for classes, please consult the revised Handbook for Teacher Education Students, available in the office of the Department of Education.

For requirements for entry into and completion of teacher licensure programs, see Professional Education: Admission to, Retention in, and Completion of Teacher Education Programs, this catalog.
