|All courses are six to eight weeks and are taught by experienced Accounting faculty. You’ll develop stronger accounting skills, unlock your leadership potential and put your learning to practice in the workplace while earning credits toward taking the CPA exam.
|All MPA students qualify for in-state tuition. Our 30-credit online MPA is an extremely affordable program. In most situations, total program cost is approximately $19,600 (as of Fall 2020). Financial aid is available for students who qualify.
The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) is the graduate degree offered by Bemidji State University’s Accountancy Department. It is intended to provide graduates with advanced-level skills and understanding required to function effectively in the dynamic, technologically complex, and rapidly changing accounting environment of today and to prepare students to pass the CPA exam.
The Bemidji State University MPA program utilizes the Becker CPA Exam Review. Becker is recognized as the premier program and industry leader in preparing students for exam success.
Successful graduates of the program will be able to apply analytic thinking methods to business scenarios using multidisciplinary concepts and tools, to communicate effectively in writing and orally in a variety of accounting environments, to bring required global perspectives to bear when seeking solutions to problems encountered in today’s accounting environments and to clearly define the role of corporate social responsibility in seeking these solutions.
