Prabin Lama is an assistant professor of English and director of the BSU Writing Resource Center. His primary focus is on writing center studies and composition pedagogy. Prabin regularly teaches courses in first-year composition and writing center theory and practice. For his doctoral dissertation, Prabin assessed the influence of writing center tutorials on the revision practices of students. His current research project explores how writing center tutors can better understand and support writers who lack confidence in their writing ability. Along with Dr. Shaun Duke, Prabin is the co-author of Rhetoric and Arguments: A Primer in Ethical Reasoning (Kendall Hunt, 2021), an argument textbook designed for first-year writing students.
