Woodwind & Piano Day 2017

Join us for an exciting day of performances, workshops and instrument-specific classes focusing on woodwind and piano performance and education! Learn about tone production, extended techniques, reed-making and care, and develop your musicianship with the help of esteemed BSU woodwind and piano faculty!


Woodwind & Piano Day 2017 is hosted by the Bemidji State University Department of Music. This free event is open to all middle school, high school and college level music students, band directors and local music enthusiasts.  This event will consist of instrument-specific master classes, presentations, coaching sessions and two separate recitals performed by the BSU woodwind and piano faculty. Instruments and accessories will be available for purchase from local music store and company displays in the Bangsberg Hall main lobby.
